ScaleTrains presents the SXT11760 N scale set of three CIMC 53’ reefer containers from Tiger Cool Express/TGXU. Road numbers included are 560239, 560462, and 560478. First made in the early 2000s, these containers are common on intermodal trains today. They look very similar to the Hyundai version, so we offer paint schemes for both real - world makers. These are prototypical ScaleTrains products from the early 2000s to the present. They come fully assembled. Each 53’ long, high - cube (9’ 6” tall) container has weld bead and stacking point details. The cored - through Inter - Box Connector (IBC) corner castings add authenticity. There are four separately applied door locking rods. They're intricately decorated with rooftop reporting marks, warning labels, and capacity data. Plus, they're stackable with most other 53’ containers and chassis brands.

Using these ScaleTrains N scale reefer containers is easy. Just place them on your model railroad tracks or on compatible chassis. You can stack them with other 53’ containers to create a realistic intermodal scene. When handling, be gentle as the separately applied door locking rods and intricate decorations can be fragile.
