The Scaletrains Operator SXT11708 presents a 3-pack of CIMC 53’ Reefer Containers in HO scale for Hub Group/HGIU. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The CIMC 53’ Reefer Container, first made in the early 2000s, is a common sight on intermodal trains today. It looks almost the same as the Hyundai version, so we offer paint schemes for both real - world manufacturers. These containers are prototypical ScaleTrains™. They're white with a red Hub Group logo on the sides, 'temperature controlled' graphics in green, and an extra Hub Group logo on the roof. They cover the era from the early 2000s to the present. You can choose from multiple road numbers. They're fully assembled, 53’ long with a high - cube height of 9’ 6”. They have weld bead and stacking point details, cored - through Inter - Box Connector (IBC) corner castings, four separately applied door locking rods, and are intricately decorated with rooftop reporting marks, warning labels, and capacity data. They're stackable with most 53’ containers and chassis from other brands. Individual refrigerated containers have sound, but the 3 - packs don't. A 9 - volt battery, sold separately, is needed for the sound feature.

Using these Scaletrains CIMC 53’ Reefer Containers is a breeze. Simply place them on your intermodal trains or stack them with other compatible 53’ containers and chassis. When it comes to individual refrigerated containers with the sound feature, you'll need to buy a 9 - volt battery separately and install it as per the basic instructions. As for maintenance, keep them in a dry place to avoid rust and damage. Clean them gently with a soft cloth if they get dirty. If you notice any loose parts like the door locking rods, handle them carefully and try to re - attach if possible. These containers are a great addition to your collection, so handle them with care to ensure they last a long time.
