The ScaleTrains SXT11750 offers a 3-pack of N scale CIMC 53’ Reefer Containers from Hub Group/HGIU. Road numbers include 300034, 300107, and 300236. First produced in the early 2000s, these containers are common on intermodal trains today. They look very similar to the Hyundai version, and we offer paint schemes for both. It features an era from the early 2000s to the present, multiple road numbers, fully assembled design, 53’ length with high-cube height (9’, 6” tall), weld bead and stacking point details, cored-through Inter-Box Connector (IBC) corner castings, four separately applied door locking rods, intricate rooftop reporting marks, warning labels and capacity data, and is stackable with most 53’ containers and chassis of other brands.

Using these ScaleTrains N scale reefer containers is easy. You can simply place them on your model train tracks or stack them on compatible chassis. They are fully assembled, so no need for complex setup. When handling, be gentle to avoid any damage to the detailed parts like the separately applied door locking rods. For maintenance, you can use a soft brush to clean off dust from time to time. Keep them in a dry place to prevent any rusting or damage to the paint. Also, when stacking, make sure they are properly aligned to avoid them toppling over.
