ATLAS Gold presents the 40005226 EMD SD50 NS Norfolk Southern #6327 in N Scale. This model comes in black and white, featuring ditch lights, DCC & Sound capabilities. Note that pictures may show a different road number. In the early 1980s, EMD launched the SD - 50 with a 16 - cylinder, 3500 h.p. engine. Its longer frame moved the dynamic brake resistors to a cooler area. Visually, the SD - 60 is similar to the SD - 50, but has internal changes. You can tell them apart by the door panels. The 'wide nose' or 'safety cab' option came in 1988.
