Using this Athearn RND1098 HO scale model is a breeze. Since it's fully - assembled, you can simply place it on your track and watch it roll. The body - mounted McHenry operating scale knuckle couplers make it easy to connect with other train cars. When using it, make sure the track has a radius of at least 15 inches to avoid any issues. For maintenance, gently clean the machined metal wheels from time to time to keep the operation smooth. If you have a Prime for Grime model, you can have fun adding your own grime and rust details to make it look even more realistic. Just be careful when handling the separately applied brake wheel to prevent it from getting damaged.
