This ScaleTrains model features an all - new roadname, multiple road numbers, finely cast details like stirrup steps, end ladders, grab irons, and an underbody with a brake system. It has a molded interior with rivets and side wall bracing, a separately applied handbrake wheel, and one - piece detailed Bettendorf trucks. The 33” machined metal wheels with accurately profiled .110” wide wheel tread offer smooth operation. It comes with plastic semi - scale Type E knuckle couplers that are Kadee compatible, and a body - mounted coupler box that can accept Kadee whisker couplers. Weighted to industry standards, it operates on Code 70, 83, and 100 rail. The packaging safely stores the assembled model, and it has a minimum radius of 18”. In 1926, the ARA's Car Construction Committee designed this 70 - Ton self - clearing hopper car, which was used by 7 different railroads, and many lasted until the 1960s.
