Athearn Genesis presents the ATHG31796 GE AC4400CW QCM Cartier #28 in HO Scale, equipped with DCC and Sound. The Quebec Cartier Railway (QCM) in Quebec, Canada, operates around 260 miles of track, hauling large amounts of iron ore. In 2001, QCM started using a small batch of new GE AC4400s to replace its aging Alco locomotives. These units feature a red beacon on the long hood for cold - weather warnings.

Using your Athearn Genesis GE AC4400CW QCM Cartier #28 model is a breeze. First, connect it to your DCC system using the Quick Plug™ and 21 - pin NEM connector. You can also operate it in DC mode. If you want to enjoy the sound features, just turn on the power, and the engine, horn, and bell sounds will start playing. When running the model on the track, make sure the track is clean and free of debris for smooth operation.
