Scaletrains presents the SXT11715 CIMC 53’ Reefer Container in a 3 - pack for HO scale model trains. Note that the picture might show a different road number. First produced in the early 2000s, the CIMC 53’ Reefer Container is a common sight on intermodal trains today. It looks almost the same as the Hyundai version, so we offer paint schemes for both real - world manufacturers. This product features a white refrigerated container with a large, bold green and blue ‘Tiger Cool Express’ logo. It's from the early 2000s to the present era, with multiple road numbers available. It comes fully assembled, a 53’ long high - cube (9’ 6” tall) container with weld bead and stacking point details. The cored - through Inter - Box Connector (IBC) corner castings and four separately applied door locking rods add to its realism. It's intricately decorated with rooftop reporting marks, warning labels, and capacity data. It can be stacked with most other brands of 53’ containers and chassis. Individual refrigerated containers have a sound feature, but the 3 - pack doesn't. A 9 - volt battery, sold separately, is required for the sound feature.

Using this Scaletrains CIMC 53’ Reefer Container set is easy. Just place the fully - assembled containers on your HO scale model train tracks or compatible chassis. If you have an individual container and want the sound feature, you'll need to buy a 9 - volt battery separately and install it as per the basic instructions. When handling, be gentle to avoid damaging the delicate details like the door locking rods and the rooftop decorations. For maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the containers. Keep them away from moisture and extreme temperatures to preserve the paint and the overall quality. If you notice any loose parts, you can use a small amount of appropriate glue to fix them, but make sure not to get glue on the visible surfaces.
