This heavy-duty flatcar is a must-have for modern HO railroads. It's designed to carry large and heavy wheeled or tracked vehicles, as well as 20' or 40' containers. It's built for heavy loads like military vehicles and containers. There are dual tie-down chain channels on the deck. The positionable, covered container pedestals match the real equipment and can haul two 40' or four 20' containers (sold separately). It has separately-applied nonworking cable straps and strap brackets, wire grab irons, a highly detailed underframe with full, separately-applied brake rods and piping. Using this Walthers flatcar is easy. You can place it on your HO scale railroad track right out of the box. When handling the flatcar, be careful not to damage the wire grab irons or the separately - applied cable straps and brackets. For maintenance, keep it clean by gently dusting it regularly.
