Atlas Trainman presents the 20006764 HO Scale Cupola Caboose in the livery of the Black River Western, numbered #34. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The first all-steel cabooses for the Chesapeake & Ohio Railroad were made in 1937 by the Magor Car Corporation in Clifton, N.J. Magor, along with St. Louis Car Company and ACF, built 350 cabooses with a similar design, with the last ones produced in 1949. Many remained in service until the 1980s due to rebuilding and modernization. Similar cabooses were also built for Pere Marquette, Missouri Pacific, and Chicago & Eastern Illinois. This caboose features true scale dimensions with accurate details, weighted and detailed underframes, AccuMate® Knuckle Couplers, trucks with free-rolling metal wheels, and clear window inserts with separately applied side railings.

Using this HO scale caboose is easy. Simply connect it to your train using the AccuMate® Knuckle Couplers. Place it at the end of your train for an authentic look. When handling the caboose, be gentle to avoid damaging the clear window inserts and side railings. Keep it away from rough surfaces and sharp objects. For maintenance, use a soft, dry cloth to clean the exterior. If there's a lot of dust, you can lightly dampen the cloth. Store it in a cool, dry place to prevent any warping or damage. Don't expose it to extreme temperatures or high humidity, as this can affect the quality of the materials.
