This HO scale icing platform is based on the standard Pacific Fruit Express design. It was in service from the late 1800s to the early 1970s. The kit comes with 6' (15.2cm) long modules. You can combine several kits (sold separately) to build a longer platform. It also includes extra drop - doors for a two - track version. All parts are made of gray styrene for easy assembly. Plastic ice blocks and tarpaper for the roof are included too.

To use this HO scale icing platform, start by unpacking all the parts from the kit. The parts are made of gray styrene, which makes them easy to assemble. First, take out the 6' (15.2cm) long modules and arrange them according to your desired platform length. If you want a longer platform, you can buy additional kits and combine them. When assembling the two - track version, use the extra drop doors provided. For the roof, use the included tarpaper and attach it as directed. As for the plastic ice blocks, you can place them in the appropriate areas to add a realistic touch. When handling the parts, be gentle to avoid any breakage. Store the platform in a dry place to prevent the styrene from getting damaged. If the platform gets dirty, you can use a soft, dry cloth to clean it. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they may damage the plastic parts.
