Athearn presents the ATHG75618 G2.0 SD60M Tri-Clops in HO scale. This model represents UP Union Pacific #2295 with DCC and sound. UP features include a popular 'North Little Rock' style plow, front ditch lights on the pilot, correct horn and antennas for the road number, and a removed cab door window. In the mid-2000s, UP's SD60M fleet needed overhauls. Some were retired, while others were repainted and put back in service. We offer 3 different UP schemes with unique details. Road number #2295 was ex-UP 6140, has a 'Lightning Stripe' repaint, a UP shield on the nose, and whip and small Sinclair antennas. The SD60M 'Tri-Clops' series locomotive is fully assembled and ready to run. It has DCC-ready Quick Plug™ technology, accurate paint schemes, coupler cut levers, flexible hoses, see-through cab windows, and a full cab interior. The Genesis 2.0 features etched walkway steps, illuminated number boards, and more. Sound-equipped models have dual cube speakers and a Tsunami2 sound decoder. The prototype SD60M was introduced in 1989 with a wide nose 'safety' cab. Sub Brand: GENESIS, Era: 1971 - 2009, Prototype Manufacturer: EMD, Lighted: LED, Sound: Tsunami2, Axles: 6, DCC Equipped, Reporting Mark: SOO, Scale: HO.

Using this Athearn HO scale model is easy. Just place it on your track and connect it to your DCC system if you want to use DCC functions. If you're using DC, the engine, horn, and bell sounds will work right away. For the best performance, use a recommended radius of 22 inches of track. When storing the model, keep it in its packaging to protect it. To maintain the model, gently clean the wheels and electrical contacts with a soft cloth to ensure smooth operation. Avoid getting water or other liquids on the model, as it can damage the electronics. If you need any warranty service, just contact the manufacturer. Have fun running your new locomotive!
