Get your hands on the Scaletrains Operator SXT11716 CIMC 53’ Reefer Container 3-Pack in HO scale. Note that the picture might show a different road number. The CIMC 53’ Reefer Container, first made in the early 2000s, is a common sight on intermodal trains today. It looks almost the same as the Hyundai version, so we offer paint schemes for both real - world manufacturers. These containers are a must - have for model train enthusiasts. They feature a white refrigerated body with a large, bold green and blue ‘Tiger Cool Express’ logo. Suitable for the era from the early 2000s to the present, they come with multiple road numbers. Fully assembled, these 53’ length high - cube (9’ 6” tall) containers have weld bead and stacking point details, cored - through Inter - Box Connector (IBC) corner castings, and four separately applied door locking rods. They are intricately decorated with rooftop reporting marks, warning labels, and capacity data. They can be stacked with most other brands of 53’ containers and chassis. Individual refrigerated containers have a sound feature (3 - packs don't). A 9 - volt battery, sold separately, is required for the sound feature.

Using these Scaletrains CIMC 53’ Reefer Containers is easy. Just place them on your model train tracks or on compatible chassis. They're fully assembled, so no need for any complex setup. When it comes to the sound feature in individual containers, make sure to buy a 9 - volt battery separately and install it as per the basic battery installation instructions. As for maintenance, keep them in a dry place away from direct sunlight to prevent the paint from fading. If they get dirty, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe them clean. Avoid using harsh chemicals as they might damage the intricate decorations. And remember, these containers can be stacked with most other 53’ containers and chassis, so have fun creating different setups for your model train world.
