The ATLAS 20006912 is a stunning HO scale 70-ton open hopper model train. It sports the iconic B&O Baltimore & Ohio #11027 design in classic black, yellow, and white. Note that the picture might show a different road number. This hopper was an industry standard on many railroads since the 1930s. The AAR recommended its design, but it lost popularity by the mid-1950s. It offered more capacity than flat-sided cars, yet the original open hoppers had an issue with acidic coal corroding the car's joints, leading to costly rebuilds. Features include true scale dimensions with precise details, weighted and detailed underframes, AccuMate® Knuckle Couplers, trucks with free-rolling metal wheels, accurate painting and lettering, and a removable coal load. The AccuMate® couplers are licensed from AccuRail, Inc.

Using this model train is easy. Simply place it on your HO scale train track and couple it with other cars using the AccuMate® Knuckle Couplers. You can add or remove the coal load as you like to change the look. When handling the train, be gentle to avoid damaging the detailed parts. To keep it in good condition, clean it regularly with a soft, dry cloth. Don't use harsh chemicals or abrasive materials. Store it in a cool, dry place when not in use to prevent any damage from humidity or temperature changes. And remember, the picture might show a different road number, so don't be surprised if it doesn't match exactly.
